Addressing Continually Evolving Blood Bank Needs at Stillwater Medical Center

MaxQ helps support blood bank operations off-site and in the hospital

MaxQ has been proud to support Stillwater Medical Center and truly value their relationship with Blood Bank Supervisor, Debbie Anders. Anders spoke on how she has implemented MaxPlus Coolers into the blood bank. “As we moved the outpatient transfusion center across the lot, we realized that we needed a new way to transport blood products. This is when we ordered MaxQ Coolers,” Anders said. “They were a better product that I ever knew existed. We are also using MaxQ’s frozen specimen pouches to pick up frozen samples from our numerous off-site locations.”

Anders has worked with MaxQ for the past two years and has become a valued customer. Logan McNeill, MaxQ Regional Sales Manager, has worked with Anders the past two years. “I love working with Debbie to help aid in saving time and caring for patients,” McNeill said. “Our comprehensive suite of solutions for blood bankers including our MaxPlus Alpha Cooler with integrated temperature monitoring, MTP cooler, EMT cooler (for helicopter and ambulatory care) and OR coolers provide consistent performance to drastically reduce blood wastage and limit pack-out time.”

They (MaxQ) have a great product and are constantly working to make it better. When I need something, staff comes right over. The in-person customer service is great! They have been a great asset to us.
